Freshman & Sophomore year

The best way to maximize the high school experience is to start planning for college early. Each student will have different needs, interest and goals, therefore services vary from student to student. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Initial and on-going review of high school transcripts
  • Personality and learning style, career interest assessments
  • Guidance on high school course selection
  • Research/Recommendations on community service & summer enrichment options
  • Coordination with standardized testing timelines
  • Assist students in getting referrals (test preparation, academic tutoring)
  • Students interested in athletic recruitment (help with National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), contacting coaches)

Junior & Senior year

A student’s junior and senior years are arguably the most important and crucial time when it comes to searching for the right college. It’s important that they receive guidance and are empowered to be prepared for all phases of the college admissions process. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • On-going academic counseling and review of high school transcripts
  • Personality and learning style, career interest assessments
  • Help developing a perspective college list (“ best college fit”)
  • Continued high school course selection advise
  • Assistance with college applications (reminders on timelines & deadlines)
  • Essay topic brainstorming
  • Review essay drafts
  • Help identifying college scholarships
  • Resources on financial aid
